Board of Directors'
Conflict of Interest Policy

No Director or Officer of the MELMAC Education Foundation ("MEF") shall be pecuniarily interested, directly or indirectly, in any contract or agreement to which MEF is a party, except that reasonable compensation can be paid to the MEF Executive Director, who may also be a member of the MEF Board of Directors.

No Director or Officer of MEF who is affiliated with, or who has a member of such Director's or Officer's immediate family who is affiliated with, an applicant for a grant or funds from MEF shall participate in the deliberations or vote of the MEF Board of Directors concerning whether to award such a grant or funds to such an applicant.
