Adult Education Awards
In 2005, the Foundation began providing grants to Maine adult education programs to help more Maine adults aspire to and go on to college. That year the Foundation provided 11 grants to adult education programs. In addition, six high schools partner with their local adult education program as part of the College Access Community grant. Some adult education awards work with multiple adult education programs and sites. In total, grants reach 25 adult education program sites.
